Expired transfers
Hosted files and links past retention or validity.
Hosted file content expires based on the retention period you chose when creating the link. NDA text and signature records are kept for compliance.
What expires
- Hosted file bytes after retention (7 days on Free default)
- Access to download expired files
- External URL links may still work if the destination is online — but the NDA gate remains
What is kept
- Signature records and audit events
- Signed NDA PDF downloads from dashboard (sender)
Tip
Paid plans can choose longer retention up to Forever for hosted files.
